Nowadays you can see a lot of cloned phones in the market. They are called ‘Replica Phones’ which are made to look like an original phone in the market but the features and quality is different. Most of this phones are made in China and Taiwan.

I am a proud user of an original Nokia N95 and i spent so much of money on getting it once it was released. Now i am not proud anymore, because wherever i go people just keep on asking me if my phone is the real Nokia N95. Check out the conversation i had with a Bangladesh guy in a mamak stall.

The Guy: Your phone is N95 touchscreen and can put 2 sim cards together?
Me: N95, where can got touch screen and where can put 2 sim cards? You gila kah?
The Guy: My friend just bought one, that is touchscreen and can put 2 numbers together at same time lah.
Me: Your friend using clone phone, no quality one. Only the looks are the same.
The Guy: How much you bought this phone?
Me: I got it for RM 3200 when it just came out, why?
The Guy: My friend bought the N95 for RM 600 only. I think you got cheated.
Me: Duh!!! %$34%%#!

I mean what the hell, he can say i got cheated for getting it for that price! He can even be convinced that there are cloned phones out there. Ok i don’t blame him, just check out this photo of the CECT N95 Replica Cloned Phone:

Can anyone blame him? The phone looks exactly the same only looks wise, apart from that the phone is just junk. I had a CECT Q500 dual sim phone with touchscreen. I used it for some time, the phone is cool even though its a cloned phone, but only the features were good. The quality sucked big time! The voice quality is poor and memory card just got burnt in a week! Now what the hell is a cloned phone good for apart from being cheap?

If you are planning to get a cloned or replica phone, i recommend you to think again. It might be cheap and have advance features like TV built it, but trust me it’s not worth the buy! I am still pissed off that we that use good phones nowadays can’t even be proud with our buy because of this clone phones, as people think we use clone phones as well which anyone can buy anywhere nowadays!
