Google’s Version Of Wikipedia

Was checking out Google’s beta products and came upon Knol which in short means ‘Knowledge’. It is simply a site where anyone can share any information they have to create a huge unit of knowledge.

At first i did find some interesting things to read, but i guess it is far beyond Wikipedia, which has almost everyone at one place. So will Google’s Knol be able to compete with Wikipedia? Well it could, but it would need more time and effort.

Check out Knol at http://knol.google.com/
