Since i am a Prepaid user, i had no option but to pay extra money to get mobile internet connection. Yes i just had to find an alternative for an internet connection, since i am away from home and too busy to go to cyber cafe to access internet.

So i turned to DiGi Edge Unlimited usage. I have been trying out Celcom Prepaid Daily 3G connection @ RM8 for 24 hours, and the speed i got out of that 3G package was 3 times slower than a 56Kbps modem connection (It Sucks!). With DiGi Edge connection (even without Edge) the speed was fast enough to surf and update websites.

To get the Unlimited usage, you will need to use up your GPRS/EDGE connection till up to RM149 and after that it is free. Yes it is expensive, but hey for a prepaid user i think it is useful. Please take note that the Unlimited usage resets at the end of every month. For example, if your usage reaches RM149 on the 20th of a month, then you only have till end of that month to enjoy the unlimited Internet access. To avoid this problem, try using up your Internet connection from the begining of the month.

As for now i have found a solution for my internet problem and hopefully it helps.
