EQ Strawberry Farm, Cameron Highlands

During my stay in Equatorial Hotel (Cameron), i did managed to head over to one of those strawberry farm’s which allow you to pick your own strawberries. EQ Strawberry Farm (Which i assume is owned by Equatorial) was the spot to pick and pluck all the strawberries.

It was seriously an interesting activity. Finally i get to see how a Strawberry plant looks like and how the grow! If you are going to stay in Equatorial Hotel then just head over to EQ Strawberry Farm as it is just in walking distance.

Pasir Penambang Temple By The River, Kuala Selangor

During my trip to Kuala Selangor was attracted by this Chinese temple in Pasir Penambang. The Temple which is located just by the river is uniquely designed. The temple prayer area is at the bottom and at the top of Temple is man made cave. Here are some shots from the Temple.

The breeze of wind here is so strong and amazing. Don’t forget to check out the seafood surrounding this Temple area as it is really nice and cheap.

KFC’s Toasted Pocketful, It Did Taste Good!

Got the chance to try KFC’s latest edition which is the ‘Toasted Pocketful’ and i have to say it did taste good.

Just try it! Take the combo set as it is cheaper that way, or just take it as ala-carte for RM7.15. I really liked it.

Kapitan’s Claypot Briyani, Penang

I am a freak fan of Briyani and when i was in Penang i had the chance to eat one of the best briyani set which was in a different concept. The rice is served in a claypot (sort-off) and the tandoori chicken served with the rice was awesome. Request for an extra Dhal as you are sure to be carried away with the taste.

Pasir Penambang Fishing Village, Kuala Selangor

A village in Kuala Selangor which is very famous for it’s seafood. I stopped by in the evening just to enjoy the view and also get some dried sea stuff from the local villagers. This shipping village is a very nice place to stop by if you are planning to go there for some really delicious seafood.

The place is also very windy and breeze will just get rid of the hot sun in this place.

Blue Valley Flowers Farm, Cameron Highlands

When you say Cameron Highlands, one would surely think about flowers. I was on a hunt for getting some flower plants for my mom that i stopped by Blue Valley Flowers Farm. There were some flowers and plants there but they were rather common.

Conclusion, i did not buy anything there as it was not what i wanted. For those looking for flower plants, head somewhere else.

Atma Temple In Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

Stopped at Atma Temple while i was in Bukit Tinggi. The temple is place also on top of a hill and it bares the Four Faced God, whom i think is Lord Brahma. I couldn’t find any information about this temple online so i can’t confirm. I saw Indians and Chinese praying side by side in this temple which was such a wonderful view. Temple was very quiet and it had no walls or statue of other Gods.

KFC’s Royal Briyani, Well It Was Ok!

Only yesterday i managed to try out KFC’s Latest Royal Briyani. With the set you get 2 pieces of chicken (one regular and one hot & spicy), the briyani rice and one mix spice soup. Checked out what i felt about the set.

First of all the rice did not taste like briyani nor look like it. Instead it looked and tasted more like ‘Nasi Minyak’. Briyani should have some raisins, nuts and some vegetables in the rice itself and not being plain. The soup tasted a lot like the Indian Soup ‘Rassam’. I really liked the soup and the rice was ok. Try it out, you might like it :)

My quick tip? Buy the chicken seperately and rice as ala carte and you can save a lot, only to miss the soup.

Wonderful Bukit Jalil Park (Taman Bukit Jalil)

I am sure those residing near Bukit Jalil area would know about the Bukit Jalil Park. I took some effort to go there after work to see what was so great about it that it is pack with joggers in the evening and on weekends. As i was there i realized how huge the place was and yes the concept was wonderful.

Main attraction is the miniature buildings representing some foreign nations and the flowers. I spent around 3 hours to walk around the park as it was really huge. Beware of mosquitoes!

Dhammikarama Burmese Buddhist Temple In Penang

Recently i posted my visit to Wat Chayamangalaram, Thai Buddhist Temple In Penang and just opposite this Temple is the Dhammikarama Burmese Buddhist Temple. My first impression as i looked at the design of the temple was amazing! The golden design to the temple and also a really tall standing Buddha just made the place worth the visit. If you are in Penang for visiting, i guess this is one of those places that you wouldn’t want to miss from your travel list.
