Due to health condition i had a simple Thaipusam celebration in my hometown Tapah. Celebration in Tapah may not be that grand but since not all places have Thaipusam celebration i am considered lucky we do celebrate it here. When i was in Penang recently, i managed to stop by some nice temples and one of it is Wat Chayamangalaram which is a Thai Buddhist temple. I really liked the golden look given to the temple and also the really huge sleeping Buddha in the temple. Check out the photos.

Made a short stop to ‘Yu He Swallow City’ in Kuala Selangor which is a man made Swallow habitat and also a place to get good quality bird nests. The habitat (room) of the swallows are kept really dark and once you get the ticket in, a guide will explain to you on the process [...]

Had a simple New Year Dinner at Jin Chen Restaurant in Tapah, Perak. The food here is always nice and the best part of it is the price which is really reasonable. Had just a few dishes as was full eating at home. Here are some dishes we took (3 of us).
